For the last couple of decades as an executive consultant, Mahesh Rao has helped senior executives at Fortune 500 Companies solve some of the toughest challenges in their businesses.

The Beginning

The idea for this business was developed several years ago while Mahesh was working with a senior leader of a Fortune 50 company. Mahesh was asked to assist him in developing a compelling growth strategy for his business unit and worked with the leadership team to come up with a very exciting growth vision and strategy. The leaders were now on point to go off and execute. Everything went off smoothly … or did it?

Mahesh received a call four months later from the same senior executive for an urgent meeting at his office. He explained how the execution of their strategy fell apart and he wanted assistance getting "it" back on track - which Mahesh did. However, a trend started to appear as over half his clients continued reaching out, asking for assistance in executing their business strategy. Given that Mahesh could not scale his consulting practice fast enough, he thought of creating a cloud-based software application that enables the successful execution of business growth strategies.

Growth Strategy and the Channel

Critical for any growth strategy to work, is the sales route-to-market via the channel. Even with best products and services, if you do not have the channel/partner strategy nailed and executed, the overall desired business outcomes will not be achieved.

Great Team for Great Results

Mahesh started a company and called it Quest 2 Excel (Q2E for short) to help organizations reach their highest potential. Based on this philosophy, he pulled together the best team he could find to design and develop the product, sought the assistance of the best sales leader, and built the company. The team then surrounded themselves with the most accomplished advisors: High caliber subject matter experts in the channel partner management space.
